Abben Farms Story

Hi, we’re the Goldies — former rural ‘burb dwellers, accidental farmers, and full-time animal lovers.

It all started with a TikTok rabbit hole during the pandemic. One minute I was watching rescue goats in sweaters, and the next, my husband and I are having a nightcap, and putting in an offer on a little fixer-upper farm.

Fast forward a year later, and here we are, the proud founders of a small but growing farm sanctuary (far better than the first little one we decided to put in an offer on. Another story for another day!). Our mission is simple — rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a safe, loving forever home for animals who’ve had a rough start.

We now have about 15 residents (and counting!), including sassy goats, sun-loving pigs, soulful-eyed horses, and a grumpy but 2 lovable donkeys who think they are in charge. Every one of them has a name, a story, and a place in our hearts that we cannot wait to share with each and every one of you.

What started as a TikTok obsession turned into a life my husband and 2 wonderful children never expected—but wouldn’t trade for anything.
